When painting an abstract, I don't have an exact plan for the outcome. I am conscious of the color mixtures that I enjoy and play around with the combinations, adding texture and linear marks to give the painting depth. Prolific blooms vibrant and rich in purple color, wysteria vines are prevalent in the southeast in springtime. These vines cover an arbor outside my kitchen window.
